My name is Cortney. And I’m a nomad. Ok, not really, but given that I have had the pleasure of four major moves in five years, I have definitely felt like one. I hail from the Carolinas where I learned to appreciate the finer things in life: sweet tea, bbq, country music, and the Tar Heels.  I am proud to say I have successfully made it into my 30’s, a fact which surprises even me sometimes. To be honest, I still feel like a bright-eyed 22-year-old about to graduate from college. Even though I passed that milestone just the other day (read: definitely not yesterday), I find that I’m still learning lessons every. single. day.  This proves to be an extremely fascinating experience, often full of adventure. And I love adventure.
